AffiliateDotCom 2.0 The Pre – Launch Phase:
You’ve heard the term “pre -launch”, but in reality, there’s a Pre Pre Launch as well. This is the time where you start building or warming up your list, establish relationships with key players, generate buzz, and attract affiliates and joint venture partners.
AffiliateDotCom 2.0 PRE PRE LAUNCH : Focuses on attracting JV partners and affiliates Generates buzz builds relationships with key players lays the groundwork for your launch sequence sets a definitive date for your launch.
PRE LAUNCH Generates buzz from within your customer base solidifies JV relationships begins to circulate your story line and heats up your list and contacts in preparation for full launch. Pre Prelaunch is extremely important because it’s what forms the foundation for your product launch, as well as helps you determine what angle you should take, as well as what your AffiliateDotCom 2.0 product should be about.
The pre pre-launch phase is where you really get to know your market, so you can find a unique approach with how to distribute your product. You can identify market demand, objections and use this information to refine your information product and develop a targeted marketing campaign prior to your launch. The more you know your market, the easier it will be to develop a story line that really communicates your message but more importantly, pushes ‘hot buttons’ and puts you in a position of being able to connect to your AffiliateDotCom 2.0 target audience in a very different way.
When entering into the pre pre-launch phase, you’ll want to start gathering as much intelligence as possible. You can do this by visiting forums, surveying your market, taking part in social media communities, communicating with your list, and most importantly, run testing sequences so that you can collect enough data to determine how your market responds to your upcoming product.
Collecting information and keeping a pulse on your market is very easy, even if you’ve never done it before. Start by sending an email out to your list surveying your subscriber base. You want to ask them for feedback and encourage them to send in their questions. Doing this will give you a good idea as to what your market is really interested in, what they are struggling with, and what This information will form the basis of your story line, and quite possibly, your product if you have yet to create it. Even if your Affiliate Dot Com 2.0 product is complete, you may identify a common question that you’ve yet to address in your information product that you feel should be included, and go back, make a few adjustments and repackage your product.
When surveying your list, you really want to do the best you can to organize the material so that it provides a snapshot of the top questions from your market. You can ask your list to respond directly to your email and then organize the responses yourself, or you could use survey tools that collect the responses and organize them by dates, names or subject lines.
One of the easiest tools to use is http://www.SurveyGizmo.com , where you can create basic surveys in a matter of a few minutes. Just create your survey and shoot off an email to your list that asks them to take a few minutes to complete the survey, or give them the opportunity to email their questions directly to you and set up a filter in your email account that will automatically transfer the emails into a separate AffiliateDotCom 2.0 folder so that you can go through each email, taking notes of recurring questions.
When you create a survey, make sure that you provide your subscriber will ample room to submit their own feedback or questions. Don’t create a survey that asks specific questions without giving them the opportunity to ask their own question; otherwise you’ll miss the mark.
It’s okay to include 56 questions that help you determine things like their skill level or experiences, but leave room for them to submit their own question, so that you can determine what your market is really struggling with. You might be surprised to know that it’s very different from what you originally thought.
Think:
- What are your top questions AffiliateDotCom 2.0 regarding ___?
- What have you struggled with concerning ___?
- If you could receive personal help with AffiliateDotCom 2.0 what would your #1 question be?
If you’re not sure whether your list will be willing to give you that information, or take the time to contact you, ask them to do it as a favor to you when you email them. You’d be surprised just how many people will respond if they feel they’re helping you out, so don’t be afraid to ask.
If you really need to motivate your subscribers into completing the survey or sending in questions, you could always offer them some form of incentive to give you that time, such as in offering them a bonus or free content.
Your survey results will not only give you direct access to the top questions in your market, but it will also reveal market objections. This is also a great time to include a little “buzz fuel”. Buzz fueling is simply where you mention that you’re working on something but you don’t provide a lot of information about it.
For example, when you email your AffiliateDotCom 2.0 list asking for them to send in their top questions or to complete your survey, you could include a short memo that says:.
“I’m ironing out the details on my upcoming “Insider Coaching” program that will be released
in early March. I want to make sure that I’m covering the most important questions you have,
so if you could do me a favor and just take 2 minutes to complete this short survey, I’d really appreciate it”.
You’re doing two important things here:
1) You fre asking them for help, making them part of your launch process and connecting directly with each subscriber. Asking for a favor makes them feel included, as part of something important, and gives them an opportunity to ask their most important questions or share their feedback.
A lot of people in your market will be very interested in being able to connect with you this way, especially if they have a question or concern that other AffiliateDotCom 2.0 products have failed t address.
